Saturday 2/4 at BC: 12-16" of new snow covered the trails. Grooming was done by Pisten Bully on all trails for classic and skate, except IP which was just groomed for skate. Conditions are soft, and it will take time, more grooming, and skiing to firm up the trails again.

Sunday 1/29 BC: Some of the finest conditions ever were groomed for skate and classic on the trails. Superlative would be the superlative that I would use to describe the conditions. I don't have a lot of adjectives in my arsenal.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Sat. 1/28 Beaver Creek: The Pisten Bully is in sick-bay, but the small groomers are doing a great job with the 3" of new snow. Classic tracks are laid up and back to Powerline jct., and all trails were planed for skate.

Thursday Jan. 26th: Attempts to groom the golf course were difficult, and conditions are sketchy. This will be the final attempt at grooming until more snow is found.

Sat.-Sunday Dec. 11, 2011: BC was totally groomed for skate and classic, except for the Lander Cutoff trl which is still primitive. Conditions are excellent, with total coverage. The classic tracks have some soft poling areas, but will firm up with time and use.
The GC was also reconditioned, and remains good for skate skiing even with the shallow base.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Weds. Dec. 7, 2011: BC had 4-6" of new snow groomed. All trails have good coverage. Skating lanes exist on all trails except Lander Cutoff. Classic tracks exist from the trailhead to Powerline Jct on all trails except the Old Lander Highway loop. We are still using the mosquito fleet for grooming until the Pisten Bully is ready.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sunday Dec. 4 PM, 2011: The GC was groomed for skate skiing on the clubhouse loop. Conditions are excellent, but the snowpack is shallow, so be observant for concrete walkways and the occasional gravel.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saturday Dec. 3, 2011: Another 9" of snow blanketed BC last night. Ten hours of snowmachine grooming was needed to pack the trails, and classic tracks were put in from the roadhead to the yurt. Conditions are soft in the distant loops, but we have a great base building which should stay through the ski season.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011: Bc got 10" of new snow, and was groomed today for skating. The far loops got limited grooming due to time constraints. Conditions are very good.

Friday, November 25, 2011 Dos Hombres groomed this evening after the snow flurry at BC. 1" of new snow should make for very good skiing this weekend. Caution at 4 Corners, Rocky Ridge, and when gliding downhills. All in all, its very good! No classic tracks yet.
########################
Wednesday, November 22, 2011 All Trails were groomed for skate skiing. Various areas have scarce snow, such as the 4 Corners region and on Rocky Ridge of the BLM. Caution, or walking is advised there, and caution is advised on all downhill/gliding sections of trail. Its easier to save your skis for better days, than to try to patch the bottoms. Snow fences were put out today, but they need new snow to be effective.
##############
Saturday, November 19, 2011: We 3 amigos took the snowmachine mosquitoe fleet to BC today and flattened out the snow. On a scale of 1 to 10, conditions range from 1 to 10, with an average of about 8.1374 = very good! No classic tracks were put in, and the cows may have followed us on Cow Crossing, but skate skiing and touring will be good. Exercise extreme caution on all downhills, the snow pack is very thin, so rocks and stumps are lurking. Go as fast as you can on the uphills, you can't use rocks and stumps for excuses there.
#############
Weds. November 16, 2011 The first snowmachine was transported to BC today to begin the initial trail grooming. Snow was packed in anticipation of better conditions to build upon.
